Future continuous tense ประกอบไปด้วย 2 ส่วน ได้แก่
will be (รูป simple future ของกริยา 'to be') + กริยา +ing (present participle)

การใช้
วัตถุประสงค์หลักของการใช้ future continuous tense ก็เพื่ออธิบายถึงสิ่งที่ยังไม่เสร็จตอนนี้และจะเกิดต่อไปอีกหลังจากนี้ แต่นอกจากนี้ future continuous tense ยังสามารถใช้ในวัตถุประสงค์ที่แตกต่างกันอีก 2-3 ประการ ได้แก่

- This time next week I will be sun-bathing in Bali.
