The EF360 challenge
Apply to EF’s seriously hands-on global management trainee program

We’re looking for recent graduates who possess 360 degrees of talent and vision to be part of our highly selective management trainee program.

Our ideal candidate would jump at the chance to:

  • Work for a President of an EF division for a year.
  • Whip out their passport for a meeting in Shanghai, Bangalore, London, or L.A.
  • Trendspot for consumer insights in Denver or Dubai.
  • Stay up late analyzing numbers in Excel.
  • Work in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries - education.

The job will be highly demanding, but very rewarding.
If you are deterred by jetlag, getting totally hands-on,
or working long hours, this program is not for you.

What would my EF360 year be like?

It’s as much a mission as it is a job. You’ll assist an EF President who will act as your mentor, your master and your friend. You could be asked to produce a flash mob for a viral marketing campaign or analyze sales data or fetch coffee from Starbucks. No assignment is too big or too small. You’ll be based in Zurich, Shanghai, London, or Boston, but you need to be prepared to travel.

What’s my career path after the EF360 program?

Once you become truly 360 (to us, that means fully versed in EF’s entrepreneurial operating style), you will be given a position within our organization that best suits your talents and skills. Positions can range anywhere from starting a new business in Boston, to country manager in Vietnam, to social media director in Zurich.

How do you join our EF360 management trainee program?

Candidates should have impressive academic credentials, flexible personalities and street smarts. A degree in business or engineering is preferable. Ideal candidates should aspire to one day be a CEO. Fluency in English and at least two other languages is a must.

To see how well you can think “out of the box,” EF360 applicants need to submit a cover letter and CV online at www.ef.com/360 or via email to 360@ef.com by March 15, 2012.

In addition, applicants should complete our EF360 “out of the box” business challenge. The EF360 “out of the box” business challenge: With the contents of this box and the contents in your head, you must write a mini-business plan, in no more than 500 words, explaining how you would use the items to build a business. It’s up to you to decide what business to build and how to build it.
